HOME DEFENSE TRAINING (CQB FUNDAMENTALS)

Home Defense Training (CQB)  is a course designed to teach the basics of room entry. Emphasis will be placed on the basic fundamentals and a firm understanding of tactics in order to build a solid base for more advanced training. Due to time and safety constraints, you will leave this course with a solid understanding of defensive principles and the individual tasks when clearing rooms. This course established the basic level to progress on to the advanced CQB, home defense, active shooter and more. 


Attendees MUST be able to perform the following tasks:

  • The student must know and be able to demonstrate safe firearm handling as well as demonstrate competence in working from a holster.


What to Bring:

  • Handgun
  • 250 Rounds of Ammo
  • Hearing and Eye Protection
  • Holster (must cover trigger guard) 
  • Good Belt
  • Note Pad and Pen
  • 2-3 Magazines (Mag Pouch is optional)

  • Multiple Targets, Mixed Distances and Decision Making
  • Perform Tactical / Combat Reloads and Malfunction Drills


This is a comprehensive 4 hour firearms training course.  During this course, students will review safe firearm handling and operation, enhanced dry-practice a  live-fire techniques that focus on development of best practice.  Cover/concealment, magazine management and use of cover.  Transition to unconventional shooting positions, acquiring targets at multiple distances.  


What to Bring:

  • AR-15 or Equivalent in Good Working Order
  • 300 Rounds of Ammo
  • 2-3 Magazines, Magazine Pouch and Rigs are Optional
  • Hearing and Eye Protection
  • Sling, Gloves and Knee Pads are Optional
  • Brim Hat

  • Perform Tactical / Combat Reloads and Malfunction Drills


This comprehensive 4 hour firearms training course builds on the principles and concepts of the rifle and pistol Marksmanship.  The decision to safely transition to your secondary firearm should be smooth and instantaneous.  As the training progresses we will review selected scenarios, build best practice on decision to transition.  Range time will include drills that will develop those skills.  This course is designed for more experienced shooters. 


What to Bring:

  • AR-15 or Equivalent in Good Working Order
  • Ammo: 200 Rounds of Rifle and 150 Rounds of Pistol 
  • Magazines:  3 or More for Pistol and Rifle
  • Hearing and Eye Protection (Preferably Electronic)
  • Sturdy Belt Highly Recommended
  • Quality Sling (Preferably 2 Point)
  • Sturdy Holster (Preferably outside the Waistband)
  • Gear with Magazine Pouches for both Systems
  • Knee Pads are Optional

introduction to pistol 102 ccw

Introduction to Pistol 102 CCW Course will assist students with shooting fundamentals and advance techniques consisting of safety, control and operations of a handgun. Develop proper grip, balanced stance, trigger control and proper use of sights. Working with each student help develop correct skills and techniques. 


Attendees MUST be able to perform the following tasks (unaided):

  • Maintain Safety, Trigger Finger Awareness and Muzzle Awareness AT ALL TIMES
  • Load and Unload Firearm
  • Demonstrate Competence with Proper Holster Draw


What to Bring:

  • Handgun
  • 150 Rounds of Ammo, 2-3 Magazines (mag pouch recommended)
  • Hearing and Eye Protection
  • Holster Hip Style, Mag Pouch with a Good Belt
  • Handheld Flashlight and Optional Handgun Mounted Light
  • Sensible Attire Including a Brim Hat, NO Open Toe Shoes
