Steel Plate Match is a great match for both new shooters that are interested in giving the practical shooting sports a try and for the experienced competitors looking to keep their skills sharp.
Steel Plate Match is a timed events in which competitors move through various stages engaging in targets using a pistol. You will shoot for various positions and on the move.
Stages are set up with an array of steel targets. Scoring is based on a combination of time and hits on the steel targets..
What to Bring:
- Centerfire Pistol or PCC with at least 3 magazines
- 2-3 magazine pouch is recommended
- 150 rounds of ammo
- Pistol Holster and belt
- Hearing and eye protection

- Hearing and eye protection

3 GUN MATCH
Dates: 3rd Saturday Every Month. Entry begins at 8:00 a.m. Registration & Orientation is 8:30 a.m. Match begins at 9:00 a.m.
Three Gun is a centerfire pistol, rifle and shotgun event. This match is rapidly rising in popularity as it combines gun-handling skills, speed and accuracy across the three platforms.
Three Gun matches are timed events in which competitors move through various stages engaging in targets using a pistol, rifle and shotgun. you shoot for various positions and on the move.
This safe, mildly competitive recreational shooting program will be your stepping stone into the world of Three Gun shooting.
Stages are set up with a mixture of paper and steel targets. Scoring is based on a combination of time, hitting steel targets, and your scores on paper targets.
We follow the IWI Multi-Gun Rules.
What to Bring:
- Centerfire Pistol with at least 3 magazines
- Rifle with at least 3 magazines
- Shotgun with shell caddies or a bag
- Pistol Holster and belt
- Hearing and eye protection
- 150 rounds of ammo for each firearm
- 5 Slugs

2024 MILITARY RIFLE MATCHES
Dates: August 18 and September 15 at 9:00 a.m. First shot promptly at 10:00 a.m. on the 300 yard range.
Do you have an AR-15, M1 Garland, 1903 Springfield, British Enfield, Mosin Nagant, Mauser, Arisaka or any other old war (looking) horse sitting in the safe collecting dust? If so, get it out, dust it off, oil it up and bring out to the range.
Enjoy shooting it the way it was designed to be shot at South Jersey Shooting Club's Military Rifle Matches.
All firing will be done on the B-27TR silhouette target. This is a non-sanctioned match for the pure joy of rifle marksmanship.
Course of Fire:
- 200 yard prone
- 150 yard sitting/kneeling (shooters choice)
- 100 yard supported off hand
- 50 yard unsupported off hand
*EACH POSITION IS 10 SHOTS*
What to Bring:
- Rifle
- 80 Rounds of Proper Ammo
- 4 - 10 Round Magazines or 8 Stripper Clips
- Slings allowed in all positions
This is a shoot and move match. Scores will be a combination of elapsed time and target score.
